GUIDE TO KITTING:
I. A couple needs three threads together before they're eligible to try for kits in this thread. If the couple has kitted before, there is a three month waiting period between litters. This is to allow the previous litter to become apprentices before the next is born.
II. A pregnant queen requires one thread where she's pregnant and one thread where the kits are delivered.
III. The kits cannot be roleplayed until after the queen has delivered, for obvious reasons.
IV. Kits are completely randomized from the number and health of kits in the litter to coat and eye colors. We use random.org to randomize your litter. There is one roll to decide the number of kits, then an individual roll to decide the health of the kit. Rolling a high number will give you a healthy kit, while a low roll will give you a weak or sickly kit. An especially low roll will give you a stillborn. Seasons have an effect on kitting, too. The amount of kits a queen can have is smaller and the chance for a sickly or stillborn kit is much higher.
V. Post a thread in this board with the following filled out:
couple threads: three completed threads with the mother and father interacting together
father's name: the name of the father
father's coat color: the coat color of the father
father's eye color: the eye color of the father
other: any genetic abnormalities the cat might have i.e. polydactyly
mother's name: the name of the mother
mother's coat color: the coat color of the mother
mother's eye color: the eye color of the mother
health: healthy, recently sick, etc
other: any genetic abnormalities the cat might have i.e. polydactyly
