carrionplace A Twoleg junkyard west of ShadowClan's camp. Most cats, regardless of Clan, consider the Carrionplace "evil" and a place of disease. During leaf-bare, the Clan's usual, amphibious prey disappears and they're forced to turn to the dump to keep their cats fed. They have to be diligent when hunting at the Carrionplace, avoiding crow-food, scraps of Twoleg junk, and diseased rats. One bad rat brought back to camp is enough to cause an epidemic among their Clanmates. ShadowClan tries to hide that they use the Carrionplace as a hunting ground, but its still whispered among the other Clans as one of the harsher digs at ShadowClan.

burnt sycamore A tree south of ShadowClan camp that was struck by lightning many moons ago. The bottom half of the tree looks like any other sycamore in their territory, but the top half of the trunk is blackened and missing most of its bark. Most of the branches are too brittle to safely climb onto but that doesn't stop daring apprentices from scrambling up into the treetops. The brambles and ferns near the base of the tree provide plenty of cover, making it a popular place for mentors to bring their apprentices on a hunting lesson.

thunderpath tunnel To the southwest of camp, two Twoleg-made tunnels burrow underneath the Thunderpath. Abandoned by their original owners, ShadowClan makes use of them to cross under the dangerous road to the territories on the other side. One leads to the Fourtrees, giving them an easy route to the Gathering without the tension of having to cross through another Clan's territory. The second stretches west into WindClan's moores. Both are dark, dank, and severely under-maintained since the Twolegs stopped using them. The tunnels lend to ShadowClan's reputation of unnatural stealth and power.
