leader's den

The leaders' den is in a shallow burrow beneath the Tallrock, dug out for a different leader many moons ago. It's big enough inside for a cat or two to have audience with the leader, which became its main use over time as more leaders preferred to sleep among their Clanmates. While the leader uses this burrow to conduct private meetings, they usually sleep near the Tallrock or huddled up beside their warriors.

medicine cat's den

The medicine cat stores their herbs in a burrow furthest from the camp entrance, beneath the gorse wall. The den itself is small and can't fit many more cats comfortably than the medicine cat and their apprentice, but the surrounding area beneath the gorse has plenty of space for sick and injured cats to rest.

warriors' den

The warriors' den is a badger sett near the nursery. The badger that made it is long gone, but it left behind a large den for WindClan cats to take advantage of. It can fit all of the warriors snugly, but more space can always be dug out to make room. The floor is hard, packed dirt but its rare to see any patches of ground beneath the carpet of moss, leaves, and grass that make up the nests in there.

apprentices' den

The apprentices' den is an old rabbit warren whose connecting tunnels collapsed long ago. The tunnel winds a fox-length underground into a burrow where the apprentices can sleep when the weather turns poor. Their nests are usually made out of grass or leaves or whatever else they can drag down in there with them.

nursery

The nursery is located beneath the gorse bush, walled on all sides by thorn-covered branches that have been packed with leaves and grass on the inside so queens and visiting warriors don't get pricked on their way in or out of the den. The ground is sandy and the den is spacious enough to accommodate several litters.

elders' den

The elders' den is a small burrow beneath the gorse wall. It's cool and dry inside and the ground is littered with moss nests. There's enough room for them to sleep huddled together or far apart, depending on their preferences.

Board Description
windclan camp
WindClan camp is found in a valley between two rolling hills, protected by a thicket of gorse bushes. The only way in or out of the camp is through the gorse tunnel entrance. WindClan's camp is the most vulnerable of the four clans in spite of the thorny walls surrounding them. Most of the cats forgo dens and sleep under the open sky, heedless to aerial predators that plague the skies above them. The warriors, apprentices, and even the leader choose to sleep in the sandy clearing. The queens and kits sleep in a nursery under the gorse wall where they're safest from predators. The elders' den is only a few tail-lengths away from the nursery and they sleep under the gorse bushes as well. When the weather is poor or if cats want to bundle up somewhere warm, there's a few abandoned burrows in the camp where they can sleep in instead. The only other landmark in the camp is the Tallrock, a large stone that overlooks the clearing and the place where leaders make their announcements to the Clan.
