burnt sycamore

A tree south of ShadowClan camp that was struck by lightning many moons ago. The bottom half of the tree looks like any other sycamore in their territory, but the top half of the trunk is blackened and missing most of its bark. Most of the branches are too brittle to safely climb onto but that doesn't stop daring apprentices from scrambling up into the treetops. The brambles and ferns near the base of the tree provide plenty of cover, making it a popular place for mentors to bring their apprentices on a hunting lesson.
