sandy hollow

Located in a slight dip outside ThunderClan camp lies a soft, sandy hollow surrounded by trees. Here, mentors take turns drilling their apprentices on hunting and fighting techniques, as the red sand and dirt filling the area cushions any harsh impact. In addition, warriors may use this area for a meeting place, as it is well-known and easy to find among ThunderClan cats. Warriors have also been known to spar here. As a clear, unbiased place free of distraction, it's perfect. A long time ago, a river once ran through the hollow but it dried up, leaving only the stream behind the hollow in it's wake.
